What has changed in FormFieber
These notes document implemented features in the current project. They are grouped by topic instead of assigned unverified historical release dates. This is not a roadmap or a promise of future releases.
More ways to play
Quick Play added server-managed public rooms, automatic matching and a shared countdown. Practice added an untimed local workbench, explicit save/discard choices and model-file loading. Private rooms continue to use codes and invitation links, and accept new players during a match when space allows.
Reconnect reuses the tab’s session token where possible. Rooms and scores remain temporary server data, so server restarts still interrupt matches.
Words and languages
The current database contains 600 English/German pairs: 200 Easy, 200 Medium and 200 Hard. Stable word IDs connect the two languages. Builders receive three options, and matches track offered words to reduce repetition until the pool is exhausted.
English and German now have separate page URLs. In-game language changes preserve the room and scene, while player names and chat stay as written.
A more capable workbench
Multi-selection and Select All enable group movement, rotation and uniform scaling without permanent merging. Left-mouse plus WASD/arrow navigation complements orbit, pan and zoom.
The Cut tool replaced the continuous carving brush. Seven cutter volumes are positioned with the normal handles and calculated on Apply. Red parts of the cutter show where it enters solid material. Cuts work across overlapping objects regardless of selection, and support Undo/Redo, model files and multiplayer synchronization.
Round settings and feedback
Private hosts can select simple time presets or a custom 30–300 seconds. Other players can optionally like or dislike a build once per turn. Votes do not affect points and disappear after the turn.
Public pages and current saving workflow
The website uses formfieber.com, localized links and a sitemap containing public pages only. Player documentation covers the actual rules, tools and common questions. Contact, privacy and legal pages remain available.
The former public Gallery, publishing, public comments and Gallery moderation have been removed. Saving is local or a model-file download. Follow the current Building Guide, or report a reproducible issue.
